| Metal fabrication, needle weaving, and Japanese braiding techniques are combined to create my unique jewelry designs. Alexander Calder’s mobiles and jewelry inspires my use of movement, giving each piece a sense of play while still being attractive and wonderful to wear. Creating jewelry with an unusual array of tools ranging from a fiery torch to a needle and thread stretches the limits of my imagination in both the design process and in exploring new takes on ancient techniques. |
