Christina is a member of the South Florida Jewelry Art Guild, Florida Society of Goldsmiths, Art Clay Society and Miami Metal Clay Artist. Since retiring 5 years ago she has been attending various jewelry schools and teaching a variety of jewelry techniques from beading, wire work, fused glass, metal clay, lampwork and metal work. Some of her work is showcased at the Key Largo Art Gallery. Christina has a home studio (thanks to her husband!) and enjoys what she does. Merie began her jewelry craft addiction in the 1970’s as a beader. Later, she incorporated polymer clay and wire working to her creations. Since 2005 merie has practiced the arts of silversmithing, glass fusing and lampworking which are her primary arts. Merie is a member of the South Florida Jewelry Arts Guild and the Miami Metal Clay Artists. Merie enjoys making jewelry at her home studio and teaching her skills to others. |
