Cooky feels that the materials she works with have an energy all their own, and she sees so much more than an inanimate piece of metal; instead, an object full of possibilities. The materials offer spontaneous design potential and sharpen problem-solving skills.
Cooky has been published in Belle Armoire, Designer Felt and Wired Art. She has taught at Altos de Chavon, Dominican Republic (Parson’s School of Design affiliate), Sewbeadazzled, and is the owner of The Shepherdess in San Diego, California. |
